We are safe, open and here for you at The Dental Centre.
There are currently no restrictions with regards to dental treatments. As advised by BDA, Dental practices will continue to operate as normal. The guidance advises that individuals can be outside of their homes for the specific purposes of medical reasons, concerns or appointments.
We have all the necessary PPE available and will continue to uphold the highest standards in safety and cross infection control.
We wanted to advise our patients of the following guidelines:
- Prior to booking an appointment, we will ask for any updates to your medical history
- On arrival we will require you to use hand sanitiser
- Your temperature will be checked using a no-contact infrared thermometer
- Your personal belongings will be kept in the lockable plastic container in order to avoid contamination
- To minimise contact with other patients in the waiting area, we ask that you do not arrive in advance of your allocated appointment time. If we are running late, we may call or text you to ask that you do not enter the practice or remain in your car until we are ready for you
- We will no longer offer magazine or newspapers in the waiting area
- We will require patients to limit extra companions to reduce the number of people in the practice. For example, children should be accompanies by only one parent if possible
Everything that has been put in place is to eliminate any chance of compromising the health and safety of you and our staff.
